Student Innovation Wins International Award

A team of ACET engineering students has won the International Innovation Challenge for their low-cost water purification system. The system, which uses locally available materials, can provide clean water to rural communities at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.

The team will receive funding to pilot the project in five communities starting next month.
